Inspire Montana Background
Inspire! is a community where anyone can grow.
It is natural for people to be curious and creative, and to explore their interests, and for those with expertise and passion in an area to want to share that knowledge. The Scouts and 4H are other organizations that help enhance young people’s lives by involving them in hands-on experiences on a variety of topics. Inspire! seeks to expand the opportunities by providing natural, community-based pairing of interests and expertise on any topic. You may prefer working one-on-one in a less structured overall environment; you may be interested in a topic not offered in your school, or one that you would like to examine to a deeper level; or you may be looking for an internship/apprenticeship style situation that helps transition you to the work world after you graduate.
There are all kinds of learners and all kinds of mentors. The idea for this network is to be able to support youth/mentor matches, based on working styles that mesh, without any “labels” (gifted, special needs, ADHD, autistic, at-risk, etc.). WE offer the opportunity for Anyone to find and explore pathways to flourish, wherever you are in life.

Enriched Community Experiences are those that offer opportunities for our youth to develop and exhibit talents in ways that make a difference in their own communities, and “pioneer the future.” Bringing local residents together in reciprocal relationships focused on goal-setting and meaning-making will help find solutions for the big and little problems our rural area faces, in innovative ways. The forged multi-generational bonds, the established sense of belonging, and the intentional collaboration for a shared purpose help enable adaptable, resilient communities.

Inspire is a network of people in our community who represent individual residents, educators, business leaders, and students, interacting to connect learners to resources to enable customized, place-based social capital and resiliency.

Montana’s creative, entrepreneurial community will sustain our world-class life experience and deliver valued products and services to meet local, regional, and even global needs, through multi-generational mentoring relationships.
Our Purpose
To catalyze opportunities for Montana youth to transform gifts into a realized talent that can be utilized in the here and now, in their own communities, to make a difference.
